Hi, I’m Kirsty —I am a qualified veterinarian offering pet sitting and overnight care in the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire area.
I know how important it is to find someone you truly trust to care for your pets while you’re away. My aim is to provide not only professional and reliable care, but also the reassurance of knowing your pets are being looked after as if they were my own.

About Me.
I qualified from Nottingham Veterinary School in 2022 and have been practising at a small animal veterinary hospital since.
Outside of work, I enjoy exercising and playing hockey. I also have a fur baby of my own — a three-legged cat called Primrose, who I rescued after she was hit by a car.
Working in practice, I’ve seen first-hand how challenging it can be for owners to find reliable and confident pet care, particularly for animals with ongoing medical needs such as diabetes, or those requiring regular medication and closer monitoring. I understand how important it is to know your pet is not only cared for, but genuinely understood and kept safe while you’re away.
This is what inspired me to create The Vet Sitter — to offer professional, compassionate care that gives owners complete peace of mind, especially when their pets need a little extra support. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!

I provide daily updates and photos of your loved one via email or whatsapp.
I am happy to accomodate further requests such as watering of plants etc. Please fill out a booking request form and add these requests to the 'additional requests' section.

Stress-free overnight care in the comfort of your pet’s own environment. This service includes: - Overnight stay in your home Evening and morning pet care routines - Feeding, companionship, and enrichment - Home security presence while you’re away - Good for cats requiring medication or more thorough monitoring Perfect for cats who prefer company overnight or need extra reassurance
Confident administeration of medication while you’re away. Including: Administration of oral medications Administration of injectable medications Experienced veterinary handling for nervous, senior, or medically complex pets Whilst I am unable to diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or provide specific veterinary advice as part of pet sitting services, I am able to administer medications that have already been prescribed by your pet’s registered veterinary practice.
Price list.
One daily drop in visit for up to 3 cats - £18
Two daily drop in visits for up to 3 cats - £32
Overnight Stay for up to 3 cats - £50 per night
Per additional cat - £3 per pet
Oral/topical medication charge - additional £5 per day
Injectable medication charge - additional £10 a day
